- 100 grams Shrimp
- 1-2 Tomatoes or celery
- 1 cup Vegetable Broth or water
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Chopped Onion
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- dash Worcestershire sauce
- dash Hot Sauce
- dash Liquid Smoke
- pinch Cayenne
- 1/8 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/8 tsp Onion Powder
- pinch Thyme
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Water as needed

Instructions
- Lightly sauté shrimp or chicken with celery or tomatoes, garlic and onion in lemon juice until cooked or lightly browned.
- Deglaze the pan with broth and add seasonings.
- Simmer on low for approximately 20-30 minutes until liquid is slightly reduced adding additional broth or water to achieve desired consistency.
- Phase 3 modifications: Add chopped red and green bell pepper and additional seafood, chicken, sausage, etc.
This appears to have pasta on the plate but it is not mentioned in the recipe. Is pasta allowed?
Hi Heather, no pasta is not allowed on the diet. Some people have found success using miracle noodles while on the diet, but we do not recommend this as it is more important to stick to the diet as closely as possible. You will find the most success when you do the diet accordingly.
