Last week, I mentioned I’d be spending the next little while diving deep into the soul-warming world of soups.
And considering I haven’t changed my mind…
Let’s find out what liquid treasure’s on the menu today, shall we?
Get ready to make some Cream of Chicken Soup!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 200 grams of chicken, cooked
- 4 stocks of celery, chopped
- 2-4 cups of chicken broth
- 3-5 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbsp minced onion
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 tsp thyme
- White pepper (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
Here are the instructions:
- Preheat saucepan over medium high heat.
- In a food processor, combine ALL ingredients and pulse until it reaches your desired consistency.
- Pour contents into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Reduce to simmer, cover, and heat for 20-30 minutes.
Then serve that creamy goodness and enjoy!
TIP: Start with one cup of broth in the food processor, then continue adding more until it’s just the way you like it 🙂
