  1. In a large soup pot or crock pot combine beef and 10 or more cups of water. Water should cover the beef.
  2. Add celery and spices.
  3. Heat to a boil then reduce heat to simmer.
  4. Allow to slow cook for 4 hours.
  5. Remove vegetables and chicken from broth.
  6. Refrigerate stock and skim off the beef fat. Put through a strainer for a clear broth.
  7. Save the beef and make beef recipes or add to soups.
  8. Makes multiple servings
